14W might not be enough, but since it hardly warms up a little, you can place it much closer to the plants and somewhat increase light intensity.

I have 50W cool white and warm white LED chips that I used to grow my drosera seedlings. They liked it despite my fear of frying them. I actually think they were growing faster than outside in full sun. I have taken quite a lot of photos, some of them are already on this forum, some can be found on the blog in my signature.

I wanted to test one of these Red/blue LED growing lights and compare it to el-cheapo CFL bulb and possibly White LEDs (cool white and warm white) with the same wattage. I'm not willing to invest a lot, so I might never actually try it. :)
