I ordered a young potted Flamming Lips which was shipped today and id like to see everyone elses flamming lips if you have one. Its a crazy colorful plant and it would be cool to see them

I never knew they got up to 2 inch traps.

Does it get as big, and is it as vigorous? I like the "sunset" coloration and the idea of two inch traps, just wondering if that is attainable quickly.

For me, Flaming Lips is a very fast grower. It has the tendency to divide a lot which is really nice if you ever want to make trades with others. During the winter it gets the signature colors of yellow, orange and red. Not so much in the summer, but I have to say, it grows really big! I never got a Jaws so I can't compare them but I think it's my second favorite flytrap (next to the DC-XL)

Yeah, it doesn't divide nearly as much as most flytraps, but it does put a lot of energy into growing large.

I have noticed that... it isn't the crazy divider my Maroon Monster is.

All I have left are three traps. They don't seem to be recovering from hibernation. They are very small. Any ideas??
