What causes this? Plants watered everyday as you see two of the same plant. One fried one fine. Also other trap I have loves this weather but this one didn't? Should I replant in larger container/deeper pot? Or too late in season? I do not want to shock these plants due to the large traps.

I see in the first image that all the traps are closed. Some ideas come to mind:
Do you feed the plant often? if you do, it could be that the plant gets too much, and that causes the traps to blacken and die.
Another reason I can think of is high humidity combined with high temperatures, and low air flow. That could boil the plant.
Also, Is the plant new? if so, it could simly hav a rough time adjusting to its new environment.
In my experience - feed the plant one trap a week, no more.
Place the plant in full direct sunlight for at least five hours a day, and make sure it has good air flow, like wind. If it is a terrarium or small green house, open the flaps/remove the cover, and have air flow over.
DO NOT TRANSPLANT.
Doing that now could only shock the plant further.
Hope this helps.

Had it for a few months. I do not feed it. It sits outside and gets a great breeze.

I am not an expert...but I grow all my vfts in the white Styrofoam coffee cups.. The picture looks like a clear plastic cup which might not reflect the heat away from the roots and rhizomes... Just a thought..

Holly It came from the grower this way, I know and i do not want to pull it and replant it. I grow all my other traps in 6 inch deep thick plastic pots.

Just place that cup into a white Styrofoam cup. no need to repot now.

It might be mineral buildup in the media. I always repot when I get new plants no matter the growing season. I would almost repot into media and pot of your choice. I've never experienced too much of a setback repotting this time of year. Also, I wouldn't water every day unless you really notice the media drying out
