I was going to do an experiment and let a few of my vfts only experience indirect light. I felt bad for them and removed the setup later that day.

BTW, all of these are from 3 plants that I bought 1.5 years ago. There are 7 more in an undrained pot experiment.

I am sure the plants are fine. They all look very healthy and VFTs have very simple roots that grow basically straight down, so crowding is only an aesthetic issue rather than a plant health issue.

Personally, I like the look of a crowded pot, so I say leave it.

I'm trying to get them even more crowded. I'm not repotting for another year and a half. These guys will be huge next year. Lots of sun on my south-facing deck :D

Nice looking pot of plants Adam--I like the overcrowded look as well and my VFT's that are grown together do very well.
Great picture too--Maybe a nominee for the CP Awards!
