Hi everyone - I'm in the market for two new fly traps, and I'm looking at getting a B52 and either a Fang or a Darwin.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these plants? From what I've read, neither seem to be properly registered cultivars, is that correct?

Finally, which one of the two would produce the larger traps on a shorter petiole(?) - Long leaved VFTs generally don't do so well in my experience so i'd prefer to get a lower lying one.

Thanks

I'm almost positive B52 is "properly registered." As for the other two, neither (at least from what I've hard) are very special. If you're looking for a low, neat cultivar with large traps I'd recommend getting a Big Mouth.

I would get the fang, when i met up with barry rice, he told me that cultivar produces nice bands on it's traps.
