I just got myself an adjustable one of these for £25! This will quadruple my maximum carnivorous and chilli plant capacity under artificial lighting if I should wish it!

Is there anything I'll need to look out for in particular when using one of these instead of a glass terrarium? It'll be in my bedroom so it'll still be warm enough for my Cephalotus, which is easily the most 'fragile' plant in my collection. Plus the air circulation will be vastly improved.

Racks like those are commonly used by many carnivorous plant growers. They modify them a bit to maximize lighting efficiency and to maintain humidity and good air circulation. I believe they get some kind of water tray to place on top of the shelves, but they work great. Looks like you got it at a good price too. Nice buy.

Post some pictures once you get everything set up.
