barelyt anywhere.
what you can do is buy dried sphagnum and put some in a bag or distilled water. it will come to life in a few days.

I don't think this is the case. I think most dried sphagnum is sold dead. There are people that sell live sphagnum from time to time on ebay or other forums.

Well, you can grow it from dried LFSM, but it will grow from the spores that are in with the rest of the moss. From my experience (although theres a good chance I'm doing it wrong), a full bag from the hardware store in water/under light for over a month has yielded maybe 50 "mosslets" (single shoots of new growth) This is painstakengly slow, so if you find a good vendor, please let me know.

There are a few on ebay, although from what I have seen, shipping is a killer. I would love to find a local vendor, but I doubt I will anytime soon.

Hi dionaea muscipula,

After trying various forms of LFSM. I find this to be the best.

It is a little bit more expensive than the other brands but is well worth it.

I hope this helps,
