Hi Everybody,

I felt like i just became a father when I saw this little guy with pure luck at night as i was just about to put them in the shed for the night and I am clueless on what the VFT is doing. It seems to be growing off the same bulb as the other traps but it is facing away from them like if its about to grow its own set of traps.

What do you guys think is going on? Is it dividing into a new one?

I will try to get better pictures when I get my camera back from my friend. I had to use a old canon for tonight.

Here is a couple more pictures for a better look. There is a much smaller trap starting to grow with the original trap I was concerned about.

If it is dividing it will do it naturally so just let it carry on growing and see what happens in Spring.
Good luck

It looks to me like it is a division. I would leave it alone and let your plant go dormant. If you want to split it, then do so in the early spring.
