I don't germinate seed from "typical" flytraps, so all of the seed grown plants here are from superior genetic plants. In fact, we usually pick out one with interesting cilia or coloration or both to ship for seed grown flytraps.

What is the difference between ordering a seed-grown and a typical from FTS? Is the only difference that the Typicals may not have been germinated, but instead came from a division or pulling?

No, not necessarily. We pick out "above average" flytraps for seed-growns, either plants with interesting cilia are very large traps. A "typical" flytrap will be one that's doesn't catch our attention in any way (average sized traps and normal cilia).
