I was going to flask them on my own, but I had no very proper way of sterilizing (microwave and oven), so both containers turned out contaminated. However, my AP Bio teacher said he'd be glad to help me flask them (and may count it for academic credit ;) ), so I'll let you know how they go!

RP,
If you don't see contamination then you will get seedlings. Seeds are easy to germinate.

Dionae,
It may take 3 weeks or more to see clear green dots.

Green dots become big and bigger !!!

Eric,
Yes, they are slow growers. When they have leaves and roots they grow a little bit faster. It may take about a month from now to have new leaves and root. I wait until they have 2 leaves and roots then I replate them into 1/2 MS. By that time, it's easy to transfer them to new medium using a tweezers. Replating them if it's too crowded or they turn brown because ethylene gas builds up (never happen to me but some people got it). You need to sow more seeds because germinating rate may go down by time.

Yes, i do. I have 4 species of orchids i need to flask before the spore isnt viable. The whole family has been home for the holidays so its hard for me to find the time atm. This coming up week I plan on doing lots of TCing. Starting to run low on media too so I need to buy more.

Seedlings are growing bigger. They have tiny leaves and ready to be transferred.
