Is there fungus growing at the bottom of my VFT? There is white-ish stuff on top of the peat moss, heres a pic:

it could be perlite... but try to take a better more clear picture if you can

i didnt put in any perlite, though. I cant take a better picture, my camera is bad.

That photo is so fuzzy, it's hard to tell what's going on there. Have you tried using the macro setting on your camera? It's usually identified by a flower symbol. Otherwise, just back up until you can get the camera to focus on the soil and then crop the photo around the stuff you think is mold.

Yes, I'm going to encourage you to do as Matt suggests. Perhaps move farther away and use zoom? Borrow a friend's camera?

I have fungus problems too in one of my pots and it would be good to exchange notes on how to get rid of it if it's the same one.
