After my first few failures i am here to seek others input on there sterilization technique ?

I ran out of PPM and its to expensive here in the UK 10 pounds for 5ml :(

So am going to have to go PPM free next time

My first 3 attempts were using matts process on the tissue culture guide

Anyone add some more up to date techniques that i could try along side this ?

Cheers

Start with seeds. Once you're able to successfully sterilize seeds and you feel like your technique is good, move onto explants. Make sure you're using plants growing indoors or in a clean greenhouse to improve your success rate. And the sterilization technique outlined in the Tissue Culture Basics article should get you close. You might have to adapt the timeline a bit to be successful depending on the size of the explant, how dirty it is, etc.
