ive just bought a full spectrum lamp for my fly traps and was wondering if more than 12 hours of light would be good or bad for the plants

depends on what the lumen output is. I've also seen some lights called GE Reveal that say "Full spectrum" on them, but on the website they are like 3000K color when full spectrum is 6000K+

Make sure that the color temp is 6000K+ and you need at minimum 5000 lumens to really grow them well.

I have 6500k 16,000 lumens plants are about 16 inches away on a 16 hour cycle and looking good

The scientific theory I like best is that the rings of Saturn are composed entirely of lost airline luggage
