Like i keep seeing this gross looking plant stuff that looks all goooey that people put the pullings in and they grow in it what is that stuff where can i get it and is it recomended if i want to do a pulling????? :D

That's sphagnum moss. You don't really need it to do pullings. I've done plenty of them in regular peat moss. But if you do want to get some, you can find it at Lowes, Home Depot or any nursery. It should be near the orchid potting mix.
