I have these Tiger Fangs and Bristle Tooth I really like.
They grow, but not super fast.

And these: Dentate Traps. This is a faster grower.Image

All plants are still very small. But they will grow bigger!:)

No. It's just one on top of the other. I had a double headed trap on a megatraps last year. One stem - 2 heads

Can't wait until I can post pics.

Another week or two.

The plants you sent me are doing great. Huge slow down in growth but we kind of expected that.

I am not sure any Fly Trap grows fast. However, there seems to be a correlation between the size of the rhizome and how fast the fly trap grows. A bigger rhizome produces more traps faster than a small rhizome, which only makes sense.
But I believe the growth rate is exponentially faster with a large rhizome compared to a small rhizome.

Cool. Those look great! I see you have been getting flowers. What are the 3rd and 4th pics? I just cut the flower stem off my Red Dragon. It was taking too much energy from the plant.

been having too much fun with the macro lens the past few months

here is a lil shot of some of our VFT flowers from this spring, as a bonus I pulled a 1:1 uncropped segment to show the detail of the pollen! along with a few other random photos from the past month.

hope everyone is doing well! things are moving along here with plants, lost one tiny BCP cultivar over the winter, and lost our tiny SD Dracos we picked up a couple months ago by forgetting it (whoops) other than that flower stalks all over, kid and I cross-pollinating like madpeople - teaching her a lot more, enjoying it!

The Tracyi is huge. You get great macro shots. I am just cheap and lazy. I often look at my plants and think oh this one would be good to send you for a close up. LoL

^ I couldn't believe how far that tracyii has reached up in the past 30 days or so. it was only about 2" out of its hibernacula 30 days ago, completely in it 45 days ago. there are about 7 or 8 flower stalks going up on it currently. will have plenty of seeds for folks and will be doing a lot of cuttings soon enough!

thank you! I've been experimenting and building other light altering addons for the camera/flash to try to improve the quality of shots (to spread/diffuse light better) and what I have setup now is simple as can be, made it from junk sitting around the house (packing foam, cardboard and some velcro) - super impressed with the results other than the thing falling apart every few minutes LOL

I could spend hours out there shooting things if I had the time to do so
