Hey all;

I posted yesterday in the introductions forum regarding my new VFT and re-potting. I went ahead and followed the instructions provided on the site and was wondering if you fine people could give me some insight as to whether or not it looks OK. I used a mix of 1:1 perlite and peat moss - I watered it using distilled water afterwards and of course mixed the medium using distilled water. My only concern is how loose the medium looks and how wet. I know they like very wet conditions, just concerned I guess.

Looks great!

It could have been divided a bit more to spread them out and allow each plant to have more room to grow, but the plants look very well potted and should grow well for you!

Thanks! Now that I've re - potted it, how frequently should I water it? I know to keep the soil damp but should I give it anythingextra to help the rroots take hold?

well, since it lacks a water bay, wait till the soil starts to feel dry, then water the hell out of it.

Thanks! Sorry one more question - should I let Iit rest a couple of days before starting to acclimate it to be outside for the summer or would it be OK to begin the process immediately?

You can begin the acclimatization now, by giving the plant a few hours of direct sunlight outside. Then, you can increase that amount of sunlight a little bit every day.
