This is one of my favorite fly traps. It has nice, big traps on spindley petioles and the traps are super sensitive. Just handling the outside of the trap will trigger it. I know that is just a typical, but what cultivar does it remind you of?

This reminds me of "large clone" it grows almost identical but with very red trap interiors. This is my one in a bit of recovery mode at the minute. This is a 6 inch diameter pot.

That's what I said!
Not quite! You said WIP Slim Snapper. WIP Snapper is a different clone. It has larger traps than WIP Slim does :)

That is correct. Bob Hanrahan chose and named 4 different plants:
WIP Snapper (the first chosen)
WIP Slim Snapper
WIP Long Snapper
WIP Big Red Snapper

Not sure of the order of the rest, but WIP Snapper was the first one Bob chose to propagate. I got all of mine indirectly from Bob through Stephen Doonan in New Mexico, formerly of FlytrapRanch. Steve and I partnered for quite a number of years running FlytrapStore. He is an amazing person and possibly the greatest grower of plants I've ever met in person.
