I'm going to be in Shallotte, NC in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for ideas of where to see some plants in the wild. I know about the Green Swamp Preserve and I'm planning on checking it out. Is there anyplace else I need to hit? Anyone in the area want to go bogging?

An almost-wild setting: Stanley Rehder Carnivorous Plant Garden in Wilmington. All sorts of carnivorous plants growing in a clear-cut in the woods.
