My VFT have got its leaves smaller and has lost a lot of it. Now its in this stage. Is it ok , or is it going to die?

It's still very much alive but is in dire need of more direct sunlight.

It's not the season that's the problem, it's the growing location. Even during the winter, the sun is plenty strong to keep a flytrap healthy. It just needs to be outside somewhere it's getting full sun all day.
