What can I use as mulch for a bog garden? It won't need to be frost-proof, this will be in a greenhouse, I'm just trying to retain water so I can water less frequently. It'll mostly be around sarrs, so it can be a thick layer.

Pine needles work great for sarrs.

Pine bark, or as mentioned needles are good, they add acidity and tannins to the soil.
