How to get rid of mold issues?

They get sunlight everyday, either from sun or artificial lights. I let them stand in water for a few hours like every two or three days, always keeping the soil damp but not wet.
The soil is either sphagnum moss with perlite or peat, sand and perlite.

But mold keeps attacking my plants, what to do?

Outdoors is best but sometimes you just can't.

Increased airflow will help. A small computer fan can you some circulation to cut down on mold.

If the mold is confined to the surface of your growing medium, you can put a thin top-dressing of silica sand on top of your pots.

Just my two cents worth.

Good growing,
Mike

UV rays from strong sunlight. Mold hates it.

As others have said, more air flow, lower humidity, and more light can help. Regardless, if you have a fungal outbreak, then you need to use a fungicide to kill the community of fungus in your growing setup. It is not enough to just change the growing conditions to make a future fungal outbreak unlikely. There are spores and other microscopic propagules of fungus all over your plant and sphagnum now.

In this post, I give a simple guide of what fungicides every grower should have on hand, when, and how to use the fungicides.
