I guess its just personal opinion because I live in a hot climate like Davids, it just seems more of a hassle then it needs to be! Thats just me tho haha

Not just about the hassle, I think it would be really cool, (both terms of cool) and thank you Matt, low humidity (10-20%) is normal in the summer, and rainfall, basically doesn't happen. I think that I'll use the misting for sure, and maybe use a shade cloth, I'll let you know how it goes, probably a long way off just like all my other projects. Today I got 4 Drosera Cap. red, and I'm sure the misting would be good for them.

Good luck with your new drosera. Since they're capensis's they should grow and adapt very well.

They lost all their dew, since I took them out of their "terrariums" I'm hoping that they get more within the week.

That would be pretty normal. They're just getting settled in (especially if you moved them to a new pot). When I got my Capensis it probably took them about a week or two to start producing dew again. They usually only make dew as long as they're (reasonably) healthy and happy.

They also might slow down growth a bit. They need time to adjust to their new environment. But in a few weeks or so they should be growing rapidly again.

Thank you guys. I'm not sure if what I did was stupid yet, I fed the plants some insects, even though they have minimal dew, there are still TINY, tiny, tiny little droplets, and on those leaves I feed them some crickets about 2/4 has successfully wrapped the insects. They are now digesting them.

I'm not sure it its okay to feed plants that have minimal dew, but I did it anyway, its just to cool for me to resist. Like I said I'm hoping they wil due up soon.

When I got them they were in terrariums, do I need to thoroughly acclimate them. Or are they okay with the change, I have a baggy over one bag, that is more like a tarp over the top, about 1 inch from the top of the plants, suspended by pencils in the media, kind of like a tent. Is this neccesary?

You should acclimate them to lower humidity over the course of a few weeks. Then ditch the terrium and let grow in the open air.

Also your baggy tent thingy is uneccesary

They ate a bunch of the goup food I made for them along with about 4 crickets. Seem to be happy, new leafs have more dew than the old ones, its getting a little bit of dew back.
