I'm out of town for a few months so I told my gf how to take care of my vfts. She sprayed neem oil cause if not it gets bugs. One of the traps turned black, a lot of the plant is turning yellow. I think she mixed it too heavy. Way too heavy. Will it die or grow all new traps?

I've never used neem oil before, so I won't even venture a guess. But it certainly wouldn't hurt the plant to rinse it a few times with distilled water and see if you can get off any residual neem oil that might still be harming it.

I don't see any signs of mineral burn there. The new growth looks healthy. Mineral burn affects new growth. That plant actually looks very healthy. The old growth that came on it doesn't look good, but the new growth emerging from the center of the plant looks great. That's really what's important when determining the overall health of a plant.
