Got an Archangel VFT as a birthday present and I'm going to try to make a pot for it.
I was wondering if I should avoid certain glazes or glaze the inside?

Also do you guys think I should use raku or white clay?

I believe the experts said clay is a big no no as it can leech minerals into the soil

I would say using clay pots are ok, but only if they are glazed on both the inside and outside, and have no chips, cracks, or breakages. Best wishes!

If you glaze the inside, you'll be fine. I've done Raku, and I don't think those would be good for the inside of the pots.

Any normal glaze, if used on the inside, will be fine. Congratulations on your new VFT! I trust you've read the care guides on this site, but if you haven't, I'd recommend it.

my new little birthday plant came with a set of instructions on care, and I've got another VFT that has been doing pretty well, but I'll check that out too.
