hey guys and gals.

Searching the web for hours, I can't find much about the different types of sphag in relation to using as a growing medium or as a pot mate for cps.

I've fallen in love with a few diff variety, mainly sphagnum russowii, papillosum and callifolium.

Are there any reasons I should not let this love linger and forget about trying to acquire these for my cps? As of right now I'm mostly drosera.

Russowii and callifolium can br found in North Carolina
Papillosum can be found in Georgia

I live in South Carolina, and have used wild found sphagnum in my pots- I want to believe the other types would be just fine also?
