Saw Megadeth/Slayer last Oct. Slayer won. Did Megadeth sound good? cuz when I heard them their sound just wasn't quite there.

Sounds like a good concert! Was it GA? For Anthrax we were standing parallel to the middle of the stage. The sound was terrible! The PA had the bass drum turned up so high that it sounded really bad. For Megadeth, we moved over to the side of the stage, and without the direct blast of the main PA, it wasn't bad. Megadeth actually sounded great! I didn't listen as much to Slayer, that was our "dinner break time," and I'm not quite as much of a thrash fan as many others that attended. But by the end of the night, and Metallica's 20 minute soundcheck , they sounded amazing! It was a cool concert

Seen Metallica and Godsmack a few years back though.
