Truth be told, I had exactly three species when I joined this forum. VFT, drosera intermedia, and sarracenia flava. Now that I have drank the kool-aid I've got close to 30 species/varieties/cultivars. Most of them through trades and the seed bank plus a few new purchases. I just did the math, and I've been at this hobby for 38 years (that in no way indicates any level of expertise). My interest has waxed and waned, but in recent days it has come back full power. Not that any of this is a bad thing. I love this hobby, the plants, and the great people I have met through this. @Atirah, I hope you find as much enjoyment out of these as I do.

If both plants bloom at the same time, you wait until the stigma on one flower has flared open, then rub it with pollen from the other plant. Take a look at Matt's article about Venus flytrap propagation. The picture of the flytrap flower shows a stigma that's ready to be pollinated.
