How to convince a vft to grow shorter stems?#410894

Hello everyone!
Sometime before Christmas I bought this poor vft that was all moldy and kept on the bottom shelf of some really unskilled florist.
Right now things are not so bad, however it still grows those very tall stems (up to 12 cm).
For reference, I am adding a pic of my other, much older vfts that are right next to this one.
Please, any advice on how to make it happier?

It looks like that is the variety of flytrap. Some of them have very long petioles.

You got them during their dormant/semi dormant period so the petioles were smaller. Now that they have woken up, and this looks to be a taller growing variety, they look like that.

They were pretty long from the beginning, but I thought it was because of the lack of light in the shop.

Lack of light could have made it go into a dormant-ish state.
