Hey all!

I'm wondering how everyone else here goes about cutting off their blackened/dead traps when they're all close to one another and growing on top? I'm trying to not activate the traps on either side and the stalk is covered by all these smaller traps on top.

Right now in Australia, we're about halfway through Autumn/Fall, but my VFT doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down  was thinking maybe I should wait until Winter comes and cut them all of when they go dormant? So far I can't see any mould growing either.

Attached are some photos to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated :D

Generally, I leave them alone until I can gently tug on it and the whole leaf very easily comes off. In my more cozy pots I'm a little more aggressive about removing dead stuff to lessen the chance of mold, but only dead stuff that easily twists or tears off.
