a new question for you:

I read many times following concentrations of hormones: 0.5ml Kinetin

My friend will making stock solutions for me. He ask me what for a concentration?

I answered him, when i will add 0.5ml Kinetin in my media, i want 0.5ml Kinetin! He asked me, ok, what for concentration?

I think he means the molare mass!? micro molare? His stock solutions for himself have always 1mg/ml.

I ordered 3 different hormones:

Kinetin
6-BAP
NAA

Do you know what he means? Which concentration in the stock solutions?

Many people use 0.5 mg/l (0.5 milligram in 1 LITER media solution) to grow CP.
For convenience, they buy/make 1 mg/ml Kinetin solution. 1 mg/ml means 1 ml has 1 mg Kinetin; 0.5 ml has 0.5 mg.
To make 1 liter of media 0.5 mg/l: add 0.5ml into 1 liter. To make 5 liter: 5 * 0.5ml and so on.

For short cut, they say "0.5 ml Kinetin" => 0.5 ml (1mg/ml concentration) in 1 liter.

Tell your friend to make 1mg/ml Kinetin solution.

Ok, i think i have understand. Can you tell me which hormones works good with Drosera?
Need i only Hormones for cell building? Or should i work with root hormone in the same step?

For understanding, For Drosera normaly it needs no hormones! They make plantlets with no pgr.
I need only hormones for Drosera which makes no plantlets from leafs, like:

D. hirticalyx, tentaculata, spirocalyx and other special species....

I grow few Droseras from seeds. Without hormone, they grow up for a while then stop growing and keep multiplication. I got thousands of tiny seedlings with few seeds; however, I want some big seelings to grow for fun. So many people don’t use hormones for Drosera.

Sure, the mostly Drosera make thousands of plantlets. In the moment i have a jar with Drosera pilosa. plantlets till under the lid. This is my base culture. Next days i must divided the clump and make 5-6 new jars.

What i mean is Drosera which make no leaf cuttings in nature or normal peat culture.

For example: Drosera regia you can make no explants without hormones...The same with Drosera esterhuyseniae (one of my favourite Drosera). For having seeds you must have 2 flowers. They are not selffertile....
