Oh. I have seen multiple people come through this forum with the same problem with Amazon "carnivorous plant soil". If you aren't mixing your own, then I would agree with testing and rinsing.

Seems like it was "Perfect Plants" or something like that. Seems I read where a user had good luck with it and then next time he ordered it it was not good for the plants. Home Depot shows that they handle it as does Amazon.

I found the answer. You would need an EC meter to test for salts. I bought the one below and did not realize it also has an EC meter.
