I have a BUNCH of VFT seeds germinating in pure water. I'm super psyched, as about 1/8 to 1/6 of them have already split the shells. In fact, several of those have green shoots, the longest not being even as long as the seed coat yet. I'm leaving for a trip tomorrow, however, and will be returning on Monday (three days gone, I guess?). WIll it be okay for those seeds to keep growing in the distilled water for that long? I've read on here that they can rot if left in water too. Seeing as how a VAST majority of the seeds are yet to germinate, I think it should be alright to leave them for such a short time.... ????

I have the soil ready to go and have moved a few of the little dudes over, just to see quick they will grow with just a bit of green out.

Thanks!
