Hello! I've been having some problems with my Flytraps and I was hoping someone could diagnose the problem and suggest treatment options. I will include photos so you guys can see what's going on with them.
In one of the photos, you can see some red mites crawling all over the plant.
3 of the photos are of King Henrys that started to have deformed growth starting about 2 months ago. it looks like it could be caused by aphids but i don't see that many aphids. I see some yes but not a lot of them.
The rest of the photos are of my collection plants just turning black, not growing, and just looking generally unhealthy. I dont know if its the result of a pest or a fungus. Maybe a bacteria infection.
It started off with a few plants but has now affected most of my collection plants.
I have never had problems like this in the past but it appeared all of a sudden and is spreading.
Im not sure what to do at the moment because i dont know what is causing it. Once I can identify it then I can start treatment.

Thank you so much for your guys help!
Kev

Well, start with the knowns. Get Bioadvanced 3 in 1 and dilute as directed, it's insecticide, miticide, and fungicide. Spray everything lightly once a week, repeat weekly for at least a few weeks. That will solve the aphid, mite, and potential fungus issues.
When you're doing that, what media are they in? What water are you using? How are you watering them? How much light are they getting? From what source? If sunlight, are they outside?

So for the Bioadvanced 3 in 1, you say dilute as directed. my question is usually for carnivorous plants, things are diluted more than the package says, so if used at full strength, it wont affect the flytraps negatively in anyway? Thanks!

Well, you definitely have aphids damage on the first 4 pictures. Some of the other damage I can't attribute to aphids because it looks like it is coming from the roots. One of the crowns looks pretty deep so do you have root rot going on? When was the last time that they were repotted? Perhaps the soil has gone sour.

If you buy the ready-to-use stuff, then no, don't dilute it. However, many stores carry only the concentrate, which you always have to dilute to normal strength before use.

Yeah i got this one. Ready to spray so no need to dilute. I'll pour it into a spray bottle and start spraying away! Hopefully this will kill everything unwanted.
