Need to know the type of Filiformis if it flowers in spring no if it flowers in fall yes

the one just listed as "filiformis" not sure, i am going to guess it is filiformis - filiformis and that needs stratification

From what I understand, stratification can be done without ill effects on the types that don't require it, correct? So if not sure you can just go ahead and do it just in case? I did that on some recently, hasn't been long enough to know the results just yet though.

Correct. If it's a tropical variety, strat won't hurt the seeds, just watch the plants in fall for hibernacula. Some tropical varieties will still go dormant with the right environmental cues.
