What are some nice plants that you've grown in your bog gardens? I like the colorful stuff...purple namely. Atm I plan on planting Japanes Sweet Flag and Cranberries but i'd like some pretty flowers too. Any suggestions?

I like Sarracenia rubra flowers. Grass Pink Orchids (Calopogon sp.) too! These two are great bog plants that bloom pretty shades of red, purple, and pink! Grass Pink even features white!
Hibiscus lasiocarpos is an awesome plant that loves to have it's feet wet. It has very large and beautiful flowers with a stunning red center surrounded by a nice shade of white/pink. I've wanted this plant for a long time but I've never been able to get it.
All of these plants are awesome bog plants that can grow right alongside CPs all year round (that means they need dormancy too). They are very pretty plants and make bog gardens shine. I'd allow some room between these guys and others as they are space hoggers and love to make babies. Great plants, nonetheless.

Going to put huckleberries and blueberries in it too. Anyone know of a low growing blueberry plant? Thanks!
