My interest was recently piqued in the Venus fly trap developed by Henning von Schmeling when he was working towards developing 'B52', Dionaea "A2". This plant is the parent of 'B52'. I'm not sure if 'B52' is a seedling resulting from "A2" being self pollinated or crossed with another plant. But I'm excited to add this clone to my collection and use it as a pollen donor when it flowers in the FlytrapStore's breeding program to produce large trapped, robust plants.

It's dormant right now, so I can't wait to see what it looks like in its full glory during the growing season.

This is really cool! If this is the parent, I can't wait to see what other offspring it will yield!

I love how it has just one huge trap, reminds me of the guy from the old cartoons with one huge muscular arm and one tiny arm.
