This tiny flower only opened as far as that. I pollinated it, because why not? A big surprise was just how stiff that stem is.
I'm more interested in what happens after flowering is all done. It would be nice if it didn't wither and die, to be frank.

I don't think it'll set seed, which isn't a big surprise. I don't see an alien pod forming, just the withered flower pedal 'fuse'. However, it's still green and upright, as of now at least. The newest developments are tiny green nubs at the bases of all the leaves. These can only be carnivorous leaves, if leaves at all. The pic isn't great, but you can easily see the nub there.

I'm going to make this one a little more portable, so I can begin exposing it to sunlight. I'm sure that'll speed up the process.

Lol! Normally, I'd say "Ship a dewy pine? Are you nuts?!" But my first seed-giving plant was from CC. If there was ever a time where I thought I was in WAY over my head, it was surely when I 'un-domed' that plant! Glue-less, disheveled, and looking mighty pissed off. That was how my first dewy pine introduced itself to me hahahaha
