Whats better to cut the trap and leave the leave for photosynthesis or remove all if still green but damaged trap?

If i want to make leaf cuttings will it stress plant by removing few leaves? Or it won’t actually be affected?

Venus flytraps are plants first and foremost. They mostly gain their energy from photosynthesis through their leaves. A damaged trap is largely meaningless to the plant, but cutting the trap and leaf will remove a big energy-producing area. No need to cut it off.

Yes, it will stress the plant to remove leaves.
