Interesting! That looks like Trichterfalle that I grow, not Cupped Trap. Trichterfalle has the fusing of the trap at the proximal end of the trap like that whereas Cupped Trap has the fusing of the trap at the distal end.

Here's a photo of the 'Cupped Trap' Venus flytrap I know:
