Go outside, wait half an hour in a worst rain, next to a city boiler building (they are a few in the neighbourhood) and colect water from the rain gutter, after half an hour of raining, after it dissipates the rooftop impurities. The city hall boiler building is often right to an apartment building or out in the open (but the apartment building windows can be other way than on the city hall boiler building direction, so no garbage could be trown on the rooftop). Watch for thugs nearby the buildings. I once colected 60 liters (15 gallon) of water. The first 30 l - 42 ppm TDS reading (i'm gonna filter it/use it on nepenthes/non-carnivorous plants). The next 30 l - 18 ppm TDS reading.
1 l per week = 4 l per month = 48 l per year. Photo, later.
