Yeah this is going to be fun. I'll be able to see how plants bulk and color up. It'll be interesting. I realized he is a jumping spider. You should see him go! I will try and update every month :)

I grew aldrovanda for a while, which I got from the Meadowview research station, and when I set up the tank I also got some "companion plants," non-carnivorous plants that grew in the same area. I don't know if it really helped or not, but it might be something you want to look into or try? My understanding is that different plants often help each other out and help keep microorganisms in check.
