I found this nasty looking guy in one of my s. Flava pitchers when I came home from work. At first, I saw it's long antennae sticking out of the top of the pitcher, and I thought it was a spider! I pulled it out by its antennae, and examined it a little before dropping him back in, to let nature run it's course. But what is t? :o

It's definitely a longhorn beetle. I believe it may also be called a bark beetle as the larvae feed on bark and wood. I would attempt to ascertain the exact species, but it's late here and I don't have time for that tomorrow.
