It depends on the size of the plant, and what you are potting into. For seedlings, you definitely want to gradually adapt them to full sunlight gradually. Mature plants that you are just upsizing the pot don't need acclimation.

If I bare-root a flytrap during repotting, then I always put the pot in a shaded location for a week while the plant gets settled in. This is more important during the growing season than in the winter, due to the winter sunshine being relatively weak.
