I thought it might be fun to learn the meaning of some of our cryptic usernames or how we came up with them.

I got xr280xr when back in the day, I had an XR 250r dirtbike. It had a big bore kit that added 30ccs and made it a 280. Due to my love of symmetry, I tacked on an extra xr to the end. xr280xr

One of my favorite phrases I guess you would call it is "categorical imperative".

Haha awesome idea for a thread

I originally wanted:

ItsaTrap (Star Wars reference, along with a pun on Fly Traps)

But decided to go with:

VelociTraptor, pretty much took the dinosaur velociraptor and added a T in there to make it Veloci(trap)tor lol.

Although if I could pick a new name, it would probably be DionaeaDan.

I've always been a fan of Doctor Who and the time machine which dematerializes before it time travels. Plus I like the word as well. Kinda simple I guess.

I think mine is pretty self explanatory. I liked vfts as most people do when they start growing cps. Leathal ( which i spelled wrong LOL) as in killing, and traps as in venus flytrap traps.

I've had the unintentional nickname of Grey for the last ten years.

I grew rather fond of it so became my online alias (which sounds a little ominous!). I've considered seeing if I can get it changed to my real name but I think that would cause more confusion than good at this point... although it might stop people calling me bro.

"Retired" in 2017.
