I recently mentioned in another thread how coloration can vary with the seasons and isn't necessarily an indication of the amount of light the plant is receiving. Here's an example of some FTS Maroon Monsters dormant (actually just beginning to wake up) receiving 12 hours a day vs. the same plants in April receiving 13.5 hours a day at a higher intensity. They will soon turn maroon again as they hit their stride.
