The Czech Giant Venus Flytraps in my greenhouse in New Mexico, where your plants were shipped from, are all still young plants putting their energy into quantity rather than size of leaves. The traps are not nearly as big as they will be as the plant matures. Traps are usually more colorful when they are hungry, but the Flytraps in my greenhouse are all extremely well fed because of the huge number of flies. The Venus Flytraps in Matt's greenhouses in Oregon are often more colorful than the exact same clone in my greenhouse. Under your care and in your conditions, the same clone from Matt or me, regardless of how different they may look when you receive them, would appear more and more alike as they experience the same growing conditions.
What you received were a partially mature FTS Crimson Sawtooth (larger than most plants ordered in the "young" size), and a young but vigorous Czech Giant that will show its most fully realized characteristics under your continued good care.
