Venus flytrap closing slow, last time it was doing really well it snapped shut in a blink of an eye, now its just slow it takes like 4 second, i wasted 4 of the trap energy because i was trying to feed them a live fly, I think the culprit of this is because i repotted and disturbed their roots too much, and yes i put them out in sun for energy and their soil is moist, I need help please.

Flytraps should be dormant this time of year.

I live in a place where snow or coldness is usually not availble, what do i do for dormancy?

How cold does it get?

Light length is the main thing for inducing dormancy. The fact that your flytrap is slow would seem to suggest that it's dormant. If it's lit by the sun and the period of sun is shorter this time of year, that should work fine.
