Hi all, my problem is that my dionaeas trap too much insects outside ! Not a single new trap can remain empty for more than 24 hours. So it shows signs of overfeeding (traps dying, poor growth)... Should I isolate them from insects or let nature do ??

I think that that's a think that you can't control. If your traps still eat the insects that means that that's eh probably need the nutrients. If they wouldn't need them I think they wouldn't trap any other insect. Isolating them can cause more problems

My two cents knowledge
Happy growing

Overfeeding is only really a problem when the plant is unhealthy and it is forced by a human to keep feeding

Outdoors if it's catching things by itself, it's fine
