Reverse dormancy project... Succession pictures for your enjoyment. I feed (fed) this plant with bloodworms soaked in 1/4 strength maxsea, which gives me twice the growth without spoiling the beauty of the plant. I just finished fertilizing it with a mist bottle of 1/4 strength maxsea today, which will be my regimen from now on.

Correct. The RD (reverse dormancy) plants will go into dormancy around May/June, and come out of dormancy August/September. My goal is to (eventually) have plants flowering, coming out of dormancy, and going into dormancy every month so I will have a constant breeding supply of plants. I am interested in breeding new cultivars, and it really is a handicap having only one season to do it in, so I'm going to make more seasons. (12, ideally)

We'll see how it works... I think it's either going to be a stunning, breakthrough success or a complete, utter, and miserable failure.

I've been doing that for almost 9 years now. Works just fine. Just check once a month for fungus and use a sulphur based fungicide if needed.

Less than a month after the initial picture on September 25. The MaxSea is working great, giving better growth than feeding while still allowing the plant to color up and keep the traps open.

I use MaxSea on all my plants now, even fertilization sensitive plants like Sphagnum and D. Adelae. I highly recommend getting some if you haven't already.

I have Maxi-Crop but haven't tried it on CPs.
