Hmmm, have to think on this one.
1. South American carnivorous plant.
2. Rosette like leaves.
3. Discovered in 1833.
4. Neither Drosera nor Pinguicula.

Dang!
That was just a shot in the dark, going alphabetically.
Give me a few to think of a good one to continue. I don't have anything right now to give away to the winner, but I will make it good.

Here's what I'm thinking for my correct guess. BerryBob, go with it or send it right back. I'm really not looking for anything, so, for my win, rather than give me something, you host a giveaway to the forum (seeds, cuttings, pullings, gemmae, live plant, etc.) of your choosing, you specify criteria (US address, new members vs any members vs members established by xx/xx/xxxx, etc), at your convenience. Cool?

The member who correctly guesses the plant I'm supplying clues to can dictate whether I will give them something as a prize, or do a giveaway of my choosing at a later date, at my convenience, when I have something to give.
First clue: Plant native to North America.
